We followed a very long wooden pathway in Alaska this summer. It led to a very small lake where we found a rowboat available for anyone to use for fishing. A very nice idea by the Parks Department.

This wooden path is stained yellow by the many feet who have walked in the mud surrounding the Paint Pots in Kootenay National Park in B.C. Canada.

Pathways beckon us forward . . . explore, dream, discover.
thankyou, I love taking pictures of trails and paths. Thank you for visiting
A place high on my list to visit. Paths always make you wonder, where is it leading? I love that.
Thank you for visiting, I am a curious traveller, always wanting to explore a path or a trail.
What a cute little boardwalk through the woods! I like the wildflowers surrounding it–and what a nice surprise to have found a boat for use AND for free!
It was a wonderful surprise at the end of a beautiful trail. The boat came complete with life jackets for any child.
Just looking at the pathway sparks excitement. The narrow pathway promises a day of fun and adventure. The lake must be breathtaking.

It’s sort of like the yellow brick road, except deep within the forest.
I skipped along the yellow boardwalk singing “We’re off to see the wizard…”
